These photos were taken during the 7 days eviction of the Nuwaubians. Imagine these people have been there for over 10 years and was given only seven days to vacate their land. They were given NO Assistance for relocations or for even entering the society again. One photographer from Macon Telegraph took photos after the Nuwaubians have moved out and he was shocked. He stated that "Nuwaubians were given such a small amount of time to vacate their home that they didn't even had a chance to bring with them their children's bikes and toys.
