The Drumstand is the site of the "Drum Ceremony" performed annually by the men who are theh protectors of the night. The Drum Ceremony is usually perfomed during the annual Savior's Day Festival around the week of June 26, which is the birthday of Dr. Malachi Z. York. The men of Tama-Re would take turn beating the drum through out the night none stop.
