I heard they were getting evicted. The Nuwaubians were given only seven days to vacate Tama-Re. I don't know how legal it was. Or if Nuwaubians rights were violated with the 7 days eviction. But it definitely smell fishy. I mean... I thought when you're getting evicted, you're given 30 days notice and a chance to appeal it. But dang!!! Anyway, I grab my EOS Canon Digital Camera and headed for Tama-Re and I wanted to record this Oasis before it disappear. These photos were taken days before the eviction. I knew these women and children. And I cherished the moment I shared with them, when my stays at the Holy Land of Tama-Re.
